it's just not the same anymore

alright, so yesterday i tried to recreate history by embarking on the tour de summer '01. in 2001 i spent nearly every other day biking from millwoods to whyte/downtown or wherever my fatkid heart desired. that alone...plus puberty i'm guessing helped me shed those handles of love.

it's been well over a couple years since i rode a bike up until yesterday. i managed to fuck up my gears, pull my groin & bike in severe thunderstorm warnings in nothing but a beater and shorts. fastforward to now - i'm laying in bed with a swollen sack (HOLLA), bangin migrain and a sore throat as if i was chilling w/ mandingo (wikipedia that).

harro harro! so as the title says, i have moved. you know there comes a time when you just gotta leave everything behind and move forward on your own right? well that's exactly what i did...........

...ahah. what i really mean is i moved from windows to a mac :) yesterday after dropping my sister @ her trainer, i was driving down calgary trail and was like, "you know lance. you always wanted a macbook - fuck it, just get it" so i thought that if i didn't overthink it & just copped it i wouldn't back down. i'll be honest though, the only real reason i wanted the macbook was so i could fuck w/ photobooth ahhaha.

quick short story.

so i got this "uncle" that i work with. you filipinos know what i mean, it seems like any friend of your parents becomes a tito or tita. so this uncle is pretty quite and polite @ all the parties and galavanting that i go to w/ my fam. but i guess people tend to act different in the work place to maintain a professional manner. uhhh not where i work haha. so i'm driving in the warehouse, and as i turn the corner i see my uncle w/ a couple other guys ......


.... my eyebrows touch my hair line, my jaw drops.

i see my uncle air humping an empty saran wrap cardboard roll. and he was all into that shit, one hand in the air - drawing imaginary circles w/ his pointer finger.

whoaa, it's been a long minute since i've blogged something that wasn't K-D-U-B related haha. so what's been poppin in lance's world for the last little while? it's funny, i think i've spent every weekend watching a movie w/ the team. sad to say i've been disappointed 2 out of the 3 times we've went.

1. STREET KINGS - fuck that. i thought it would be kinda like training day, but naaah man - total shit, the plot just kept bouncing everywhere. who was the corrupted cop? who was the killer? in the end it only solidified my original belief - fuck the police.

2. THE FORBIDDEN KINGDOM...or is it forgotten kingdom? - maybe if i was back in elementary i would of that it was dope. i've waited so long for jet and jackie to do something together, but why - WHY did it have to be in a love child plot of "the chronicles of narnia" and "a cheesy 90's kung fu".

3. H & K: ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY!!!! - i don't need to ruin it for anyone that hasn't watched it yet, it's hella funny & i didn't need to be high to watch the second one
