A, A, B+, A, A, A, B, A, A ...... and a D+? what the efff? nah nah braa this can't be right. i flexed my nerd muscles HARD last semester - i'm after that scholarship money homie. i kept quiet for a couple days trying to think if i really did fuck up that bad in that one course .. but i didn't want to bitch about it and find out that i REALLY did fuck it up. but i took my chance and i talked to the professor and low and behold he accidentally swapped my grade with some other student, B+ ... now i feel hella better, but at the same time i feel bad for whoever had my grade and will soon find out their real grade.

i never thought karma would bite me back in the ass. i admit, i'm not the most faithful tool in the shed ... but i never thought to this day i would treat my body to the same level on how i treat girls. i was so good to you, but when i went down to america i couldn't resist tasting the forbidden fruit, burger, chicken, and taco too.

today was my first day in " '09 is mine " challenge, and karma came back to bite my love handle body in the ass. i was all up in P90X ready to tear that shit up like it was 2008 ... half way through i had an asthma attack and i'm ashamed to say i quit half way through.

i'm sorry tonisha (that's the name of my stomach), baby i can change. the challenge may be called " '09 is mine " but in reality, '09 is us - me and you tonisha ;) tonisha it was cold how you treated me today.

I PRESENT THE " '09 IS MINE " CHALLENGE

i'm not even going to front. since my detox finished on december 17, 2008 - ive raped my stomach, liver, wallet.

this is why i've created this self challenge that i am determined to endure and complete as of the end of april and continue throughout 2009. my goal is to be at least under 10% (it be gnarly to be 5%) of body fat but have the ryan reynold (no homo) figure. i'm not pushing a 9-5 so i have no excuse not to put in at least an hour or two a day to commit to some sort of physical exercise and proper daily dieting and nutrition.

as of January 11, 2009 i'm sitting at:

Body Mass Index:	28.5 kg/m2
Waist-to-Height ratio:	0.47
Percent Body Fat:	14.6%
Lean Body Mass:	179.3 Lb

now i'm not trying to "kate moss" myself and get all anorexic. i'm trying to lose body fat and hopefully gain some muscle in the process.

i would take a photo of myself for this post but maybe i'll take it another day, i feel hella fat from BENTO BOOMBOX's dinner date ... fuck me :(

i will periodically post every sunday in efforts to document this process. '09 is mine.

BOXING BONER

we hit up "WILD CARD BOXING CLUB" last night. for all those who got their boxing facts straight, you should know whaatttiiiittisssss. this is the Freddy Roach's boxing club where he trained people in the likes of Bernard Hopkins, Peter Manfredo Jr, my hometown hero rey "boom-boom" bautista, and maybe some other filipino you might of heard of.... uhhh MANNY THE FUCKING PAC-MAN PACQUAIO! we hit up the club to get our tourista hype on to take a photo or two of the gym. but bam right when we walk in i see my braa jose got boxing chubby growing. Freddy Roach was all up in the bia. we had to grab a pic of jose with freddy & u know what? freddy is a hella cool dude. chatted it up for a good 20 minutes before we peaced. keep on the down low but Freddy said he was going to meet up with Manny to negotiate a deal with an "undisputed boxer who retired" for a future fight. that shit would be legen...(wait for it, i hope your not lactose intolerant)....DARY!

hit up the UCLA campus last night to peep this hella cracken stop for some ice cream (i know i'm lactose intolerant, but this shit is hella bomb). i recommend ANYONE especially fellow struggling college students in the LA area to stop by "DIDDY RIESE". $1.50 for any choice of two bomb cookies holding together a scoop of ice-cream? two white chocolate chip cookies and peanut buttercup icecream - cot damn!

8 MONTHS TOO LATE

i'm just pulling that "fashionably late" kind of post. i've been looking through iPhoto and i've noticed i have hella videos and pictures from over 2008 that i never knew about. why? because i never upload them. well it's '09 & i guess this could be one of my resolutions: being more prompt on uploading pics/vids ... maybe not HELLA prompt by uploading stupid amount of albums, but for sure sooner than an 8 month period. i'm just getting the ball rolling braa, here's the first of the batch. this is some footage i snapped of the team's big homie marv-OH leaving for japan .... in june.
